Hey guys, given all the advantages of Z tube & JWT Pop Charger, I couldn't resist & ordered on mynismo the other day. It arrived today, with a surprising $50 custom fee... Anyways, that's not what it's about.

The stuff I've got doesn't seem what I expected. I attached the photo here. Is that all? I thought there's more? How about heat shield? I called them and they told me it's only for 350Z. Is that true?

Thanks for any tips.

(Not being lazy here, as I've searched the forum for many hours...)

How about the mounting bracket so that I can attach it to the car?

This is what I have ordered: https://www.mynismo.com/products/?id=2578
It says 'w/ Cobra MAF Sensor', what is that? It seems the only way I can connect the pop charger is to by pass the stock MAF, as I can't connect the charger to the original MAF housing.

Sorry for so many questions. I'm just a noob here. First mod ever...

u got the wrong item. send me it for my 350z
Yea, you are right. They don't really have a FX35, I should have ordered G35/FX45 instead.

I'll send it back them & they'll ship a correct one again.

IMO, you're best bet is to get a nice intake tube that doesn't use any accordian pieces... I think FUJITA still makes one for the FX... if not, I WEAPON-R makes one... and then get any cone that will fit the end of the tube... K&N makes a bunch of different sized cones... You can either get one as a "package" with the intake tube or go with a generic cone filter... I currently have a set-up with an LMS intake and a K&N cone filter... works like a charm and WAY better than when I was running K&N drop-in filters with a z-tube... under WOT, there's quite a bit of a vacuum caused by in the intake and the accordian pieces squish... with my current set-up, when I rev my engine, you can actually hear a whistle of air being sucked in to the cone...

Your link states that it comes with a heat shield.. If you bought the item, it should come complete; who cares if the heat shield is for the 350. Get them to ship it free or refund you the money.

I just put an AEM CAI into my son's G...well constructed and it fit perfectly. If they have one for a '35 I'd recommend the brand, and since the filter is relocated into the fender just ahead of the wheel you get the advantage of a true CAI. And, as a bonus, engine note is fantastic especially at WOT.

Yea, it's their crappy website, which isn't for noobs like myself. Once you pick your year & model, it highlights the 'PSHO1-3XXX2' instead of 'PG353-1XCN8'(for G), or better, just highlight nothing(so customer will ask). Apparently, that was for Z that won't fit a FX.

Anyway, I've shipped it back(from my own pocket). They've shipped a replacement for free. The total cost me $330... Let's just hope the result turns good after the installation. Thank you for your guys input.
