I just changed my valve covers and now have a minor vacuum leak. I did a throttle reset and it still is revving a little high. I just took out the intake and plenum and am going to check all hoses, put in new gaskets, and properly torque all the bolts. I am hopeful this will solve the problem. The big question is "could it be a vacuum leak at the new valve cover(s)?" I don't really want to take the valve covers back off and reinstall them... unless it males sense that they could be the problem? I hear stories of people venting their valve covers directly to the atmosphere without it causing a vacuum leak so I am speculating that if the valve covers were leaking it would not cause a vacuum leak?
