FX newbie saying hello!

I picked up the FX35 this last Monday and I'm already in love.

I also wanted to say thanks already for the store of knowledge archived on the board. I've already lurked most of the forums and have gotten a really good idea of what to keep an eye out for and what mods to start lusting over.

I also picked up a new Porter Cable polisher and some Zymol glaze this afternoon and hope to spend a relaxing holiday weekend putting a killer shine on the beast. I'll post some pics if it turns out anywhere close to what I'm expecting.

Holy sh*t....Bob this is Stevie from JU! I bought a FX about a month ago also!!!!!! Still have the WJ. This forum reminds me of how JU was in its beginings...Glad your aboard.

Hey Stevie, I wondered if that obvious Jeep id was really you. Haven't seen you on JU in a while, now I know why. :wink:

With us jeep crossovers onboard, how long till we start seeing some FX offroad pics? :lol:

Naw, JU blocked at work now, (so is FA) so I dont get to post much...thank god for this site. NAGCA is still accesible though.

I needed something to replace the WJ with and the FX fit. I needed another vehicle to keep the miles off of it. (~75k)

welcome and congrats on the new ride. i really think you'll enjoy this car. ive have mine for about 1 year and i still have a blast in it like the day i got it

Thanks! The FX is actually the wife's DD to keep the miles off her MCoupe. I'll be lucky to drive it a couple of times a month.

It has already caught my attention though. I might just have to start saving my pennies for a FX45 to replace the Jeep.

dont think I havent thought of the same thing...I get blasted for saying it on JU. Henley and I had a talk about it and he bought a Porsche Cayanne turbo!
