Hey chedman i recently had a 80 series flowmaster muffler #42583 installed on my 45.The shop did a custom install with magnaflow tips 4inch. outlets.They also welded the pipe instead of using a flange(where you have your red circle).So far im very happy with the set up,sounds great.Yes the stock pipe is 2.5 inch,i brought the muffler to the installer, total cost $400.

Cube where did you get yours installed?

The shop that did my install is a custom shop, muscle cars,cruisers hi-end sports cars =higher price.

Also the exhaust tips were$75 each ,install around $130 and $97 for the muffler, tax.

Sure i could have shopped around, but the shop is highly recommended ,and i,m happy with the results.
