There are a bunch of 45's that have gone this route,Bazooka,Wassabiz45 to name 2 who have pics posted and the price is consistently $400 or lower and the work is good.Most have not used the flange

I understand Philly is not Chicago, I typically get 5 years from mild steel(a few cars longer..cars given to my kids).The price difference is worth it here...

It used to be leaded gas and salt would kill anything,but with unleaded there is life.My guess was if a really good SS exhaust comes along then fine,but I can replace this 3 times before I get to that cost.I am 4+ years in with no concern,but I have seen nicer work than my shop that does a lot of race/street race cars,so I may get a neater job done soon
