I've recently purchase a 2006 FX35 and slowly conforming the car to my preferences. I noticed two empty slots by the lane warning and snow traction buttongs.

I tried to find a USB port that is designed to fit into an empty slot. No luck.

I found a lot of matches for Toyota, but nothing for nissan or infiniti. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Reviews say you need to trim the tabs to fit into the tab-catch but it looks promising.

The tabs fit perfectly but the button is a little smaller than the slot and the surface is darl transluscent not black. This is the pannel held up to the window to show the gap.

You should use Black wire for Negative, Red permanent Live or Yellow for Switched live Never use Black for Live wires and personally I would also heat shrink on crimped terminals it helps prevent ingression of dust and moisture into the terminal and looks much smarter. And the blue trigger lead on a car sterio is only 0.5 amp for a double USB socket you need at least 1amp so you risk overloading the trigger lead.
