Really? the cassette adapter I'm using doesn't sound any worse than FM radio. I have to set my MP3 player's volume to med-high to get a clearer sound though.

It was like a squeeling cat. I could not turn it off fast enough.

I will try again tomorrow. I would hate to find out now that the **** cassetee player is broken.

James,

Nope no more models....I am going to dig up my signed baseball from the 1970's and see who is one it.

Also try flipping the A/B side of the tape to see if that helps. My Sony adapter only works on Side A but get static on Side B.
I tried this and it was worse. Nowing me I probalby just screwed something up.

Like CAR54 on using the cassette adaptor, I mostly control the volume using my Ipod versus the radio's volume button. The radio's volume is set to about medium and then I adjust the Ipod's volume higher and lower as needed - so as to reduce the amount of static.

I also wanted to say that with the ProFit thing installed it looks like it could impail someone riding in the passenger side.

It sounds better now. Thank you

Still not sure about keeping it. On 3 channels they were playing the same song.
