Linking your V1 to your rearview mirror. Someone pointed this out on another forum and thought it was pretty cool, although I don't have a V1. Expensive but cool.

Yeah... I've seen this before (I think I saw it on TwinTurbo.net a while back). Very slick install - too bad you can't send the guy your mirror and V1 remote... would be less wasteful and probably cheaper!

Way too expensive. Plus, you lose your compass. I don't use it much anyway, but I agree that I would consider this more if I could send him my mirror and have him put the V1 display in it.

I don't even have a radar detector though. I should get one.


I'm 6'3" and often kind of hunch down to see under the mirror. This gives me an idea. I may get a second mirror mount to raise it up so it's almost flush with the top edge of the windshield.

Although, if you have a radar detector, why would you ever look behind you?
