I am going to be attempting to install the OEM wire harness and trailer hitch soon. For the harness install there is a fair amount of trim removal involved.

Does anyone know the best trim removal tool and can I order it online? The instructions mention a tool made of nylon (i.e. no scratching), but I wasn't sure if this was a Nissan/Infiniti tool or not.

I've found a lot of different ones online, but I wanted to know if anyone here has one and if it works well, where I can get it.

I installed the OEM hitch and wiring harness on my FX. My trim removal tool was a flat blade screwdriver. You just have to take your time and it won't scratch or break anything.

I've seen different kinds at Pep Boys and other auto stores...you may want to check there. I usually just use a screwdriver, but a trim tool would be better.

Several places in the service manual even mention using a trim tool or screwdriver with cloth over it.
