Hey guys/gals,

I'm looking for a HI RES photo taken of a Silver '03 FX45 (or 35 with 20's) that I can have made into 'poster' size for my wife. She wants this for her office.

I do not have a hi-rez digital camera and am hoping someone here with a good camera and a little artistic ability could take a coupl shots in raw format (ie no or lossless compression)???

How many mega pix are we talking here?

It would be good to know the resolution of the poster since you may not need a super hi-res camera if the poster quality is only average.

anything you are going to output has to be 300 dpi. If there is a lot of detail and if your going to be close up to it then 600dpi is best.

i have a friend with an 8 meg camera... supp. to be able to make posters out of the images (on the right setting)


i'll ask (although my color would just make your wife want you to get the b16)...lol

Well, I don't think I need an 8mp one, BUT just something better than 1.3 that I have :-/

I've made a poster size blowup of my Talon from the 1.3 mp, and surprisingly it looks pretty good, but I just wanted something a little cleaner / better.

I mean any of the 4+ mp cameras would probably do. I've actually been looking at the Digital Rebel from Canon... I'd love to have a digital SLR

I gather so many useful informations from dpreview since I brought my 5meg Sony F707.
