Not for me, but cool....

I prefer to keep the compass, auto dimming mirror, garage door/security gate openers, etc in my stock mirror & keep my V1 above the mirror. Thanks for sharing this with us though.

Agreed. It's a cool mod but only if all the other functions of the mirror were kept intact.

Hey anyone mount their main V1 in the back on teh cealing somwhere and run a cord to the front remote unit rather than by the rear view mirror? I'm thinking about doing this in my current car because i'm afraid that a cop will see the unit by the mirror even if it is black. I don't have a tinted part of my winshield liek u do.
