Hopefully these pictures will help you guys find the 32pin connector. I don't know how else to explain it.
Hi, you said;'using an adaptor cable sent by seller (Aliexpress from China)'. I have only problems with my rearcam so that's why I'm asking. Did you need it and which cable/color is from the camera behind the radio unit?Hello from Barcelona!
I have just installed the Tesla Style on my 2008 FX35, and it looks great.
I have lost some features from the original system, such as options configuration menu, TPMS indication... that only appears on original system (this is an android tablet with A/C control).
I'm using original reverse camera, using an adaptor cable sent by seller (Aliexpress from China)
If anyone knows how to access to internal car menu through this android system (maybe using bluetooth OBD2 adaptor and a soft) it would be great. Same for TMPS values (now I only have low pressure indication on dashboard)

So, it's that white connector that needs to be unplugged?Hopefully these pictures will help you guys find the 32pin connector. I don't know how else to explain it.
Hi Marcus....now that you have had this for awhile, how has it been holding up for you...any issues? Also, where did u purchase the Asvegen brand from? I been thinking about doing this for a year now and I like how yours looks and works. Seems like other ppl had issues with the TPMS/backup camera from other brands. Please let me know...thx sir!Just received my Android unit yesterday and installed it this morning. Mine was an Asvegen brand with Android 10 and Carplay built in. I added the external TPMS and already had a backup cam installed from my previous HU Upgrade. My camera is the same as the cheap one they sent so I left mine in. I replaced the OEM camera a while back (a pain the a$$ - for real). Everything works well and sounds good (i upgraded the speakers a while back as well). No real issues with the install at all. Carplay connects with no issues, TPMS monitor works no issues, as well as the back up camera. I am definitely satisfied. Shipped to me in about 7 days for a total cost of $468 for the android unit and about $30 bucks for the external sensors. Feels like a new SUV! Lol

As saurfang stated (many thanks for posting!) that is the way to make the OEM factory Rear camera to work BUT when I first tried it did not work for me either as many people has stated after his post. I thought the cables where changed bsome way in the display connector M63, and as I have the Service Manual for my car I checked it to realise that the cables were in fact those stated in the guide. The important fact that I also saw in the manual when reading the checking for the repair of the Rear view camera isthat there is a Rear View Camera CONTROL UNIT, that little black box behind the glove box that it is removed in order to get to the CAM BUS connector. Without that box reinstalled (or the glove box reinstalled) the Rear View Camera WILL NOT work.
- for factory backup camera, check if the connector is wired correctly. This guide has the correct wiring. You can find similar information on the service manual "DRIVER INFORMATION SYSTEM" section which you can find a copy online. You want terminal 15 and 4 for RCA pos/neg respectively but the one I received had 14 and 2 instead. I wasn't able to get the pre-installed pins out so I bought connector and wires myself.

Hi! Truly appreciate the effort and pics. Once I remove that plug, what do I do with it? What does it connect to? I have a 2008 FX35 as well. So, I figured out over the weekend where the 32 pin plug is on the 2008 FX. Now, after a year and a half of having this radio, I have full control over the AC. First, you have to take out the glove box, of course. In the first picture, you have to remove the bar that I am pointing at. It is held on by two bolts. Afterwards, you have to remove the box that I am pointing at. For whatever reason, mine had that marking on it. It is held on by 4 Phillip head screws. Pull the box down and remove the plug that I am pointing at. That's it. Put everything back together.![]()

Will definitely try this tomorrow evening. Thanks. I really wanted to use my OEM camera. The reverse gear triggers just a black screen with guidelines.I also finally got my Kirinav unit working with my FX35 2008 after a few weeks of tinkering. The gotcha are all mentioned already:
- make sure the factory gray AC controller was left plugged in, which powers the HAVC.
- make sure the 32 pin connector behind glove box is unplugged and connected to the Kirinav connector with 2 green wires 原车协议 (factory interface.) This passes through the temperature info, HVAC control, door sensors and backup sensor.

Otherwise reasonably satisfied with the unit. I still need to clean up the wiring, AC fans, USB pass through etc so might write back later with my user experience. Wireless Carplay works pretty well but gets spotty at times. Last couple days I had some audio issue with Carplay (it gets cut out randomly) so still need to figure out if something went loose during my tinkering.
I don’t have that green wire. It didn’t come with my new radio. Maybe it’s not needed for my 2008 FX35 and the 32 pin plug just needs to be unplugged? You have to connect it to the connector with the two green wires as shown below. I literally solved this issue last night. View attachment 20813
It should be one of these two connectors I circled. We got two different kits but they essentially work the same.I don’t have that green wire. It didn’t come with my new radio. Maybe it’s not needed for my 2008 FX35 and the 32 pin plug just needs to be unplugged?
This is the Android unit, harness and cables that were sent to me for my radio…

Cool. Will check once I remove the 32 pin plug and take the radio back out. Appreciate the prompt response! Thanks! It should be one of these two connectors I circled. We got two different kits but they essentially work the same. View attachment 20820
So, for my 2008 FX35, I just needed to unplug that 36 pin plug adapter and leave it unplugged and my AC is working properly now.It should be one of these two connectors I circled. We got two different kits but they essentially work the same. View attachment 20820
Hey man. Trying to get my SIM card to work. I have it in the adapter that came with the radio and rebooted and it recognized the sim, but no active connection. The sim is activated. I have a Mint Mobile sim. What service did you use?Thank you for your reply. I have tried this and have failed to get the backup cam to work. My Android unit doesn't have that wire label "back cam" by the way. I also received a chat reply from the seller stating that this Android unit does not support the OEM backup camera that came with the vehicle. I did clarified to the seller that the camera I've been trying to install is the same one they sent me and he/she totally ignored my concern afterward. I basically gave up on their backup camera that came with the entire package. The package also came with the DVR recorder for front facing camera and I mounted this to the back windshield instead to use as my backup cam. I had to cut one of the wire on the Android unit to prevent the system from triggering the black screen when backing up.
UPDATE to my original post about the cellular dongle. After I unplugged the power from the battery and reconnected it, the Android unit rebooted and it now recognizes the LTE SIM card and I have internet.
Did you see the video in the earlier message showing the connections?I’m looking for help with the A/C controls. The plug for the glove department it’s not clear on what I need to disconnect
