ok i have an fx45 with the tech package... now i need to get snow tires and rims.. my question is this.. if i get another set of rims do i need to have the pressure sensors in the rims? or will it cause problems with the computer? has anyone done this at all ? i just dont feel like having to buy 4 sensors just to put in the snow rims and tires to use for 5 months of the yr.

hi maxum! I also need snow tires for a FX35 (with no spikes). I'm looking for stock size 265/60-18. Do you know any tire-shops where I can get such tires? I tried discounttiter.com and tirerack.com but all they offer is just all-season tires. Since you're from Canada you may understand the difference :) Thanks in advance...
give this a try..

I have a second set of 20s w/ snows mounted on them without tps. Its fine although once in very rare while, the low pressure warning sign on the instrument panel would go on (no sounds). So no worries.
You can also go to Wheel & Tire Zone near Dixie and Eglinton area.... ask for Andrew. That's where I bought the rubbers for the 20" wheels.
