I saw that one, but can you tell what month and day a vehicle was produced by the last 8 numbers? For example, is it correct to assume that a VIN ending in 203362 is much older than 212981? And if so, by how much? I would like to know how long the car has been sitting on the lot? Thanks.

On the driver's side door jamb there is a sticker that shows the production month and year. Mine was built in 8/03.

My 2004 FX35 has a manufactured date(month and year) on a sticker on the drivers side. Open the driver side door and look at the bottom right side (not on the door, on the frame of the car).
