I don't know what it is but something about it screams "goofy looking Honda wannabe".

I'd interested in some of their performance stuff though.
These look promising:

Active Shocks:

Active Shock Technology

The Prodrive suspension with Active Shock Technology™ brings fully functioning semi-active suspension technology to the aftermarket. Active Shock adjusts shock stiffness over 1,000 times each second. The Active Shock suspension can range from softer than stock to 10 times stiffer than stock and it adjusts on the fly. The Active Shock system adjusts shock valving 1,000 times per second based on information from sensors monitoring the position, velocity, and acceleration of the suspension components and the lateral and longitudinal movement of the car’s body.

Active Shock’s Ride State Aware™ algorithm continuously adjusts the amount of damping. The Ride State Aware algorithm can predict body and wheel motions before they occur. Active Shock doesn’t just react to bumps, it anticipates them, providing just enough resistance to prevent bottoming regardless of load and ride height. The result is a suspension that provides better than stock levels of comfort during daily drives and 10 times the resistance to bottoming, body roll, squat and dive during performance handling.

Active Shock Features:
· Adjusts suspension performance in real time to provide maximum performance driving capability
· Improves ride comfort during normal driving without sacrificing handling
· Monitors ride conditions and adapts in real time to improve grip and ride quality
· Optimizes understeer/oversteer balance during corner entry and exit
· Improves straight line stability
· Allows the driver to fine tune feel and performance level from the driver seat by selecting Comfort, Sport, or Race settings
· Allows damping to be adjusted for competition without rebuilding strut unit
· Compensates for changes in spring rate or wheel and tire configuration
· Reduces ABS intervention over irregular surfaces
· Handles largest bumps, jumps, and potholes without bottoming

Active Shock Includes:
· Four (4) semi-active, remote reservoir strut units with Eibach springs
· Wiring harness connecting the four struts to master control unit
· Upgraded rear shock mounts
· Ride State Aware Algorithm monitoring and controlling suspension performance
· Optional dash-mounted driver interface unit with integrated display and control panel

Availability: Mid-year 2004

FX-35/FX-45 Spring Kit (FX-R)

FXR-SPR
These high-performance spring sets are specifically designed to work with the factory struts. This complete kit features springs manufactured to Prodrive’s specifications. This spring kit will be available for delivery in mid-year 2004. Availability: Infiniti FX-35 and FX-45
MSRP: TBA

FX-35/FX-45 Brake Conversion Kit

FXR-BRK
This kit features upgraded discs, calipers and pads for maximum braking performance. The 4-pot front calipers are machined from lightweight aluminum to minimize unsprung weight. These are mated to discs featuring spiral venting for greater cooling capacity and a unique Prodrive groove pattern to continually clean the pad to resist glazing. The pad material has been specifically chosen to complement the characteristics of the discs, offering much greater stopping power and fade resistance without compromising cold braking performance. Brake conversion kits will be available mid-year 2004 Availability: Infiniti FX-35 and FX-45
MSRP: TBA

It makes it look like a mad max version of a Pontiac Vibe. Sorry, the body kit is awful.

AGREED

i am thinking i will go for the big brake conversion kit, ONLY if it has monobloc calipers..... if not, itsa more visual thing, imo

i will, instead, lean toward replacing the rotors, and refinishing the calipers rather (read: paint em black)
any updates from them yet???

seems aweful quiet.........

SO?????????????????????????
I just wrote Prodrive and asked them for an update on the Active Shock Technology suspension for our FX. Here is how they responded:

Dan Antonielli of Prodrive said:
The Suspension will most likely be released for the (WRX) STi this summer.

Infiniti Product development is still on hold...

I will include you on our AST mailing list for updates.
 :x
I think their kit is NASTY :(
I'm pretty interested in their Active Shocks. It would be similar to the Teins with EDFC I believe. Too bad those won't be out for a while it seems. Subaru always comes first for Prodrive.

TEIN EDFC is just a switchset for the shocks from the cockpit- a convenience item.

It's nothing close to the ProDrive kit which is far more advanced.
