Believe it or not, I got pulled over again tonight.

Here we are driving down hill going out of town and at the bottom of the hill in the middle of the lanes is a cop. And then the rollers come on. So, I pull over and get all of my paperwork out. He comes to the car door and says “I’m Mr. so and so and I pulled you over for speeding.” Now here is the kicker: Not a local cop, not a state cop, not a sheriff, not a tribal cop, no he was a BIA. When he said BIA, I thought for a second that he said FBI. LOL For those of you who do not know what BIA is, its Bureau of Indian Affairs.

As he was reading my paperwork, a truck flew by us doing like 80. And I said “that guy is going way faster then I was.” The truck never moved over a lane or even slowed down and this cop was not in stealth mode, he had at least three sets of rollers on. .

The best part was, he let me go on a verbal warning, doing 62 in a 40. The 55 mph sign was right in front of my FX, as he pointed it out to me.

As soon as he let me go, he turned around and within a minute, he was pulling another car over.

Nope, I lost 150 bucks at the casino. I forgot to buy a lotto ticket.

I really need to save for that Valentine ASAP.

That's about what my "69 in a 55" cost me a couple weeks ago. I've got tickets from numerous states (NE, CA, NV, CO, OH, NJ, MD, VA...anyone got a longer rap sheet?), and that's probably the highest cost I've ever had to pay. I've been fairly lucky in that I've never been tagged for any of my high speed runs, with one exception in Nebraska where the cop was kind enough to give me a warning for 103!...that was 25 yrs ago, and I was actually going faster, but that's a story for another time.

Nebraska troopers..... It brings me the old memory that happened about 14 years ago.

I got pulled over at 75 in 45 construction zone and was sitting in trooper's Mustang. Then I saw a blue tank with red label in his back seat. Didn't know what it was then and it took 5 years to realize what I saw.

I don't want to sound sexist, but if you look anything like your avatar I can understand why he let you off without a ticket.
