[FXLENT]

I stared my FX after working out at the club and the VDC OFF, SLIP and Service Engine Soon light came on after starting. I played with the VDC OFF switch while driving home but it didn't have any effect. These 3 lights stayed on all the way home.

After I got home and turned off the car and restarted, the VDC OFF, SLIP light went off but the Service Engine Soon light was still on. I then opened and re-tightened the fuel cap and drove around a but but the engine light remained on. The VDC OFF and SLIP light seem to be off (working) now.

Any thoughts or ideas here on what this is?

I found this on another thread over at FA. This is exactly what happened today. Anyone what came of this?

Well, I took a shot and did the "reset" of the ECU. It cleared the SES light and everything seems to be back to normal.
