I'm looking for a clean install....not waht they do at bestbuy. Also has anyone added Channel up and down switches in the console for this mod? The unit I was looking at was from http://www.avelectronics.com. Any help would be appreciated thankyou

I have the unit and it works great. I installed mine myself and also one for a friend, so can't help you out in where to take it to get it done. There are lots of posts about the unit both here and on FreshAlloy; just use the search function. Here is a link to a pictorial install guide:

Can you post up some pictures of the Nav screen playing DVD or TV tunner. I am thinking about getting the same unit.

Thanks.

Once complete, video quality on the front screen is just as good as the rear. If you want halfway decent TV reception, you need to get one of the optional amplified antennas, mount it at the top of the windsheild and mount one of the included antennas at the top of the rear glass (running that wire is a lot of fun). You couls also mmount a powered one in the rear, depending on how far you want to go with it.

Anyone in TX that has either done this mod or know where to get it done? I'm not brave enough to do it on my own..especially since I don't think I should be looking for colored wires when one is colored blind :D
