A= Ztube
B= Grounding WIres
C= Nismo Radiator cap
D= K&N drop in filter
E= Super white Day time running lights (my guess Bi-Polarg)
F= 6000K HID
G= Plastic cover conversion
Ooo, fun! Hope I'm not disqualified for my previous experience.

A- Z-tube: 5-6 HP gain, eliminates resonators in stock tube
B- Earthing kit: Better grounding signals for smoother engine operation
C- Not sure; is that an aftermarket radiator cap?
D- Got me there; that intake looks stock, unless that's a K&N drop-in. Dunno why tou'd mod the intake with a Vortec on the way, anyway.
E&F- bulb mods; not my thing, so I'll leave that to someone else.
G- Brake cylinder compartment cover: pure aesthetics.

****, I miss my coupe. :cry:

*edit*
****, I hate when I get beat to the punch by just a few seconds! Oh, well, I get extra points for stating the purpose of the mods, right?

b/w the two answers, we have a winner....

well, we're ALL winners here really....lol

anyway, the cap is a BLITZ® 127kg rad cap (to help raise pressure, im told...better cooling/flow??)

D is a taped off inatke seam, as the stock seam is 'less' than tight or secure (IMO).. i used clea5r packing tape (and it seems to blend in quite well, no?)

E are aftmkty bulbs, BUT they are the very newest PIAA (japan spec) 8000K dual filamnet bulbs.......

F are repl. HID's but are only 8500K D2r's.... i have a pair of 10,000K's being made right now (the d2R doesnt come in 10K, so i am having them made)

G is the Jpn spec battery cover indeed, but, in jpn (the RHS driver battery is on the opposite side of that of the US spec) so now i have two covers that say "battery" on them..... beats the open, unfinished look, and keeps the master cyl and resv. clean and debris free......

thanks for playing, "name that mod"...........

more to come

ALOT more :hesitantdevil:

Do you think the grounding kit is worth it? I've been deabting whether or not to drop a bill ofor it or just get a Momo shift knob instead.

YES

i had NO sat reception with the micro antyenna inside the car (on the decklid, with TI window film), and after the 7-wire kit, it drew reception fairly well.......

the ant. still needded to be moved outward, BUT it shows clearly, (IMO) that this does make a diffference.....

the typ. 5 wire kit (get it from guy, aka Insaneanime) and mention our site... he'll give you a discount!!

his stuff is top shelf, IMO.....

sms
ps- the 6'th wire is good, but i opted for the 'hidden' 7th wire, mounted in the rear of the car chassis, by the muffler flange.....(much, much easier to change on the fx than the G, without ramps!!)
Ah, I noticed the same thing about the intake scoop fitment and snugged up the area on my FX a while back. I used thick, foam tape and cut pieces that wedged in between where the surfaces mate, so you don't see it at all.
one more item there, BTW...........

visible, but not labelled.........

bonus - time!!

ps- win a free hatch liner (just 45 for shipping!)
Aftermarket billet oil cap, presumably Blitz, to match the radiator cap.

I'll pass on the hatch liner, but I still want one of your zippy cases! :D

Yo es. Are the actual covers themselves the same sizes as the ones for the FX? Cos in that case you could just buy one of the brake cylinder cover and swap? So you don't have two "battery" covers.

Just wondering. You could go to the parts department and buy the proper one in that case.
