Trucks, like motorcycles, are always one modification away from being perfect.

Although my FX35 isn't a truck, that doesn't mean I won't modify it. I've decided to record my modifications in this thread.

Modification 1. 25mm wheel spacers, first photo is before, the second is after.

Modification 2:

QC3.0+5V 3A Dual USB Power Socket sized to fit in Nissan/Infiniti sockets.

I eventually moved it to the socket nearest the door because my knee would hit the USB cord.

Modification 3:

Replaced the interior door-actuated lamps with LEDs (photos to follow)

Modification 4: Changed the following to LED:

• Fog Lights
• Daytime Running Lights
• Front Turn Signals (with resistors)
• Front and Rear Side Marker Lights
• Reverse Lights

I think the DRL conversion is confusing drivers into thinking I am driving with my high-beams on (they're pretty bright).

Modification 5: Installed G6 octa-core, 11.8" Vertical Screen Android 11, 8g ram 128g rom, Fast boot Navigatio Receiver for Infiniti FX35 2004 - 2008 × 1

To summarize, the kit didn't come with any instructions, technical support failed to call in to all of the appointment calls they scheduled with me, and it would not properly operate the HVAC.

I'm waiting for the return authorization number and shipping label. I'll have to revert to a simple bluetooth receiver with FM radio transmitter.
