i have tried five different waxes/acrylics, and this (pro grade yello wax) is BY far the best (i prefer it over klasse even)

i have a klasse kit to sell, if anyone wants it (20$ gets the kit, with cleaner and polish and appl. pads)

i have claybar'd the car prior to sing this too....thasa must!!

Zymol

I have used Zymol for the past two years. It's simple (once on/off) and lasts for a couple of months. It's 12 bucks at Walmart. I love a good looking vehicle but am not doing the zaino or any other all day thing.

Looks good. Since you seem to be the neighborhood expert  , have you tried BlitzWax? I've used it on my bmw and the only complaint I have is that it doesn't last long. Ever heard of it?

im be no means an expert at this (or anything...lol)

i have heard of tha wax (i think) but have no experience with it)

i was using zymol (wash) and then zymol (liquid wax) over the summer... smells great, and sets up VERY nicely on metallic paint, BUT lasts a short period of time, IMO (and i still work on my finish almost weekly)...

after reading tests with zymol, i found similar complaints in the longevitity of it, so i switch to another brand.....

currently, i use the meguairs no.7 showcar polish (after a claybar, if needbeso), and then immediately follow up with the meguairs no. 26 pro yellow carnuba liquid wax...

between washings, i use the meguairs spray detailer, or the zymol spray.... (zymol spray gives a deeper shine, but less 'smooth' feel)

My deal with zymol is that I only want to spend about 3 hours on the car max! I can wash, clay bar, dry, zymol wax, cool water mist, re-dry and clean windows in that amount of time. I read about Zaino about 2 coats of this, 3 coats of that and 9 hours later, depending on the humidity, there finished. I love my car but don't want to spend that kind of time on it.

I claybar,wax about every 2.5 - 3 months and wash about 1 week.

zymol has to be the easiest wax to buff off ever....

actually, you're not even supposed to let it cure....

try this... (next time) get the meguairs 26 (at least) and do the hood....

the shine is deeper, and crisper, with alot less clouding than zymol......(IMO)
