I was reading in Maxim that she is like 4ft tall and that she get's mistaken for a kid, is she really that small?

First of all, I have to say that she is really beautiful. It was hard not to stare at her while eating, even if she wasn't a "celebrity".

I don't know how old she is, but I would guess 26-28 or so? I don't see how someone could mistake her for a kid. She didn't look that short to me (maybe I'm short LOL), about the same height as my wife? 5'2"-5'3"?

The Universal Grill, it's an on-property restaurant here at Universal Studios not open to the public. Since Desperate Housewives shoots on the lot there are frequent sightings of the people from the show (and others as well).
