Is the rear view mirror easy to remove?

Finally getting around to the ambient lights?

lol. yeah. Decided to install them under/near the rear view mirror. I cant get the **** sunglass holder off (integrated w/ the entire headliner). The most ass backward design I've ever seen. :?

Just put your left hand on the left side and your right hand on the right side of the mirror. Count 1...2...3 and pull. Works like a charm

Got the mirror off last night (very easy). Couldnt get myself to open up the mirror though. After playing around with placement options using a small photon light in the interior, I think I finally found a couple of good spots to install the LEDs. I'm going to try the install tomorrow.
