Hello everyone,
I am new to the forum. I will be buying an FX45 in a couple week and plan on getting the tech package. I was wondering if anyone considered putting an in dash dvd/mp3 player in the clock space and running the video to the navi screen using a converter. If this is possible a dvd player with an on-screen display and good mp3 navigation system would be great for my purposes. Here is a new clarion that i think would liike great with the bruch metal stripe. Check it out.

bowmank, all you describe can and has been done. Try a search in this Audio/Video/Navigation forum and you will see pics, dos and don'ts.

Hey Guys,
I pretty much read thru all of audio/video/nav and couldnt find any post of anyone who had done this. Also did the search.. maybe i am doing something wrong. Any pics or recommendations of in-dash units would be greatly appreciated.

As far as getting the dvd video to play through the tech screen, you'll need the Nav-TV. Do a search for Nav-TV here.
