The hood and grill replaced and the sides "blended", so the paint will match. If I pay for it, it will not get "blended" and the grill will probably not get replaced.

Is there really that much fade in the paint that they will need to touch the fenders?

I don't know how comfortable I'd be with them repainting the fenders.

If you can pocket the cash, why not tap out the dent and touch-up the chips? Since the hood is aluminum it won't rust.

I was driving. It's my car. The paint is already cracked and If I tried to bent it back out, a lot of the paint will probably flake off. The fade is not the problem it's just hard to match the ivory paint, so they say. They told me the same thing on my wifes Lexus (Ivory Pearl) when I had the bumpers, front and rear done. I decided not to blend the paint on hers and I can't tell the difference. I'm not one to "pocket the cash"-just not my thing. Hope I answered everyone's question's.
