the list is long, but not too bad (imo)

1) brake pulsation
2) tsb for caliper rotors
3) leather seat fiasco (ujmot???)
4) seat click/rock?? (havent had that happen in awhile, but i made mention anyway
5) new I key added/keyblank cut
6) oil change (1700 miles, but still getting it done)
7) hood latch not securing hood firmly to body- without some play.. (since day one, but i hvae never remembered to ask)
8) estimate for exhaust install (muffler section only)
9) wash denied

thas about it......


now, i wonder, should i debadge the loaner (35sedan)??lol

SEAT FIASCO RESULTS..........


i am told the minor (not my words) pulling (or is that pooling) of material down on the base is within normal expectancies, and that they want me to keep a close eye on it; they reminded me that it will be covered under the oem waranty, if it gets to a more noticable level of failure/defect.....


oh well, time for showcar interiors to give me their input..... (i have my doubts the dealer had a specialist/upholstery shop see it, so i cannot truely argue with them

all in all, at least all of my other concerns were met with success......


wait........

the 3700 mile checkup.....

does that include tire cross-rotation, or just plain ol rotation, or none???

i need to see a list of what i should check for on that (found out that i have NO cabin filter though....thas nice, ona 50K car.....) :roll:

service satisfaction........... 8½ out of 10

more on the seat soon, i hope

Was your's supposed to have the filter? We were told ours does. How hard is it to check?

Was your's supposed to have the filter? We were told ours does. How hard is it to check?
I thought so....... i thought i bought the top trim model, leaving out NO options, to speak of..........


there i go thinking again......... :roll: :lol:

Do you purchase the filter? Is this something easy to install or do you have to take out the glovebox?

I've already checked. I don't. Wonder if it's at all worth it to spend the $30 on something I have never had.

Turn your key on and make sure your vents are on "outside air". Then open up the hood and the battery box and look behind the battery. You'll be able to see the filter area. You should then be able to see if you have one.

YEP......

if you DONT have one, you'll just see the plastic (white) door with the foam (grey) seal edges.......

i am getting one, for the heck of it, but think i might havta remove the battery to install it??
