eh eh LOL. Sorry, but I persoanlly don't rate the TT as a drivers car. In fact I can't stand the looks nor the way it drives. All personal opinion of course. Looks like yours has decent brakes up front at least...

Comment on how the 35 handled and how well you did on the track! We wanna hear! Is there anything you would/are going to do to your FX to improve its trackworthiness?

FX 35 Track Worthiness

Actually I retired the TT as my track car and and bought a supercharged Miata. It is definitely more track worthy

I hauled the Miata to the track with the FX and decided to take it out for a session to harass the novice drivers :twisted: At first I was just going to take it easy just to see how it handled, but I gained confidnence quickly and decided to go all out and passed several cars (pretty much all of the ones in the pics).

My average lap time is around 2:10 for the Miata and I was able to score a best lap time of 2:16 in the FX35. I was concerned about the body roll and scrubbing off the edges of the tires but it did very well. I would definitely not consider tracking it for any extended periods, one session was enough and I may try it again for fun now that I have the Crawforfd Plenum and Stillen intake installed!

I'm sure the Miata is a much better drive! What kind of HP is it pushing out with the SC? Its not very common here in Japan, most stick to N/A tuning or bolt on turbo kits. In fact I recently test drove the limited edition (350cars) Miata Turbo and that was a blast. The car will be on sale in the US from this month...and its not a limited edition run for the US market. Have you done any weight reduction tuning and chassis stuff too?

Sounds like the FX can put out some decent times. Not sure what the track looks like but did you experience any brake fade? That is a lot of weight to slow down!

On a side note about the Miata, my brother's friend had one with a turbo... amazingly quick :twisted:
