I bought one from Grubbs about 6 months ago. Since then I personally have changed my oil twice, the oil drain valve makes it a breeze. Typically you remove the drain plug and the oil shoots out, getting on your hands and on the floor before making its way to the drain pan. With the oil valve in place, you can slip a small piece of hose on it, directing it into the drain pan first, then you can turn on the valve...no mess whatsoever! In addition, you do not need to replace the drain plug washer every time you change the oil.
I consider it money well spent. Even the Infiniti Service Tech thought it was a cool idea.

Love the idea, it'll save time but cost $24.99?
Since it will be located right underneath the oil pan, I hope it will not hit any thing at any speed.

whoa, they sell these at walmart?!

btw i couldnt get the valve to fit my fx45....did anybody else have any luck?
