I opened my 45 up and checked today. Looks like we can't use the oem fog switch to trigger a relay or the factory relay. The outputs from the switch are data signals. They communicate with the BCM via the CAN data bus. The only way is to use a seperate switch to operate the fogs if you want them on other than with the headlights.
