I have a 2004 FX35, and love it so far. It did not come with carpeted floor mats or a cargo mat, and all dealers tell me that they do not sell them any more, and the newer ones for 2006-2009 models do not fit. Is this true? Do the newer mats fit the 2004?

The floor mats for the passenger compartment should be the same. The cargo area is a little bit different between the 03-05 and 06-08.

I tried ordering the set from them, but their carpeted mats have been discontinued. I wanted to order the 2006-08 ones from my dealer, but they told me they did not fit. I am looking to see if anyone else has tried it successfully. I cannot see why they would be different.

I've only got rubber mats up front and have been looking for some replacement carpeted ones. My shopping endeavors have led me to a website I haven't tried yet but am planning to when I get around to it. They have custom mats with lots of options, like materials, colors, bindings, heelpads... they seem legit. Check it out:

They have cargo mats too, although if you're patient, you'll find the OEM style here, or the "other" board, or eBay.

I don't see any reason why the 06-08 won't fit... there were NO changes in the floors between the refresh... I'd call the phone #'s for WWW.INFINITIPARTSUSA.COM and the link I just posted above and ask them...

Yeah, that doesn't make sense to me that the 06-08 floormats won't fit in the 03-05 models. Nothing really changed on the floor. Call InfintiPartsUSA at 1.888.344.6346 and ask them though.

The replacement carpet floormats are still available, however they don't come with the Infiniti logo anymore. They come in wheat and graphite. As for the cargo area carpeted mats or rubber protector (I recommend the rubber protector), InfinitiPartsUSA lists the applicable model years as 03-08, and they also come in wheat and graphite. No difference on the cargo floor. The difference was with the cargo area cover.

I called and they said the carpeted ones were discontinued. So I was hard headed and tried ordering, but my order was canceled, and they said they had been discontinued.

Ebay is really your only option sometimes. I ordered some OEM all weather mats for my 2010 FX, I was bummed to see that the new mats (oem) don't have the logo detail, just plain old carpet.

I got the samples from Quality Car mats, and the stain resistant are pretty nice, but doesn't $165 for 2 front and a back runner seem high?
