I was wondering if anyone knows if I can exchange any model year FX50 V8 engine for my 2009 FX50 engine? When I go on ebay sometimes its says 2011-2014 model year FX50 engines are not compatible with my 2009 FX50 engine.
I took my 2009 FX50s to the dealership, they said i needed new intake and exhaust timing sprockets and new timing control solenoids for $6.5K total. So instead of doing all that work, I plan on just getting a new used engine from ebay.
