With all the news recently, I was wondering... do we have one? Just last night I heard a story about a guy who sadly killed two teenage girls. His box info was used and upheld in court against him, proving he was going over 100mph just before the crash. He was sentenced to 30 years.

Only certain states have laws regarding disclosure and / or data "ownership". Can't find any mention in the service manual. Anyone know?

My dealer told me during delivery that it did record data. I thought it was in the owners manual too.

and besides, i dont think it can handle speeds over 140 MPH anyhow
