Well, I did it. I took my baby to the DYNO. :D

Yes, you read that right, I had my car on the Dyno.
The worst part of the whole experience is watching and hearing someone you never met drive your car to over 100mph and redlining it. :(

I really wish I would have gone in sooner, with no mods bone stock, to have a baseline. It would be very informative if someone out there with a bone stock FX35 AWD would do the dyno.

My car has the following mods just to re-cap: Stillen intake, Z-tube, UR crank pully, Crawford V 5 plenum. I pulled the AWD fuse for these 3 runs.

Hooked up to the machine.
Notice the big fan in front of the car to help cool it off.

Here is with all 3 together.

The Dynojet is adjusted to sea level, in case your curious.

Note: average Hp loss is 20% from crank to rear wheels.

Well, thats it.

I know we were all hoping for higher numbers.

But it is still cool to finally have some numbers, since everyone has been wondering.

This wasn't a 4-wheel dyno, right? (Weren't your front wheels spinning in the beginning?)

How much was it?

Congratulations!!!
I went back into the search and saw some 190HP results so you are in the ball park...the Stillen test of a stock 350Z was 240(are the stock ratings diff or is this a dyno diff)

Let me explain why I think that this is so noteworthy!
Comparison purposes!!!
0-60 also good for seeing improvemants from parts.
I flat out do not trust dyno figures from manufacturers, there are too many ways to get the #'s you want to see

Thank You Dawn!!

Thanks for taking your time and posting the dyno results Sweet!

Very interesting numbers. My buddy owns a dyno here in the Dallas area and as soon as we get about 5K miles on ours, I throw it up on the dyno and report the results as well. It will be bone stock so we can compare.

Question, how did it sound from behind at 6k rpm?? :D

Thanks Dawn

Somebody had to bite the bullet and do this! Dawn you're awesome. At least we have a benchmark.
I am surprised the numbers were what they were. Oh well, the FX still has plenty of cajones for having "only" 280 crank HP...your FX of course having even more than that.
