I will first mention I am a gear head. When turning the FX45, it has a sort of clunk in the rear end that acts sort of like a how a locker might act. Sort of feel a grab and release. However, of course when put in a parking lot to test, it doesn't want to do it but when leaving, yup. It seemed to do when turning right only, now it is both. I think if I gas it a bit, it will stop.

Now, I realize some might immediately go to the CVs, which it could be, but this noise "feels" more like its differential related. Or almost how a car might act when locked in AWD, which it is not. Since the rear CVs do not see radial angles like the front, I would not expect turning to cause this and the CV boots are in perfect shape.

Anyone run into this?

Update, clunking is actually the AWD trying to lock up. Removed 10A fuse for AWD solenoid. problem gone. Someone talk to me about sensors in the system. Only does this in very sharp turns and seems to do it more when less power applied.
