Quick question....what are you chaps using to clean the aluminum plating around the gear shift? Someone spilled a little coffee from St#rb#cks the other day and I tried to wipe it off with a soft moistened cloth. I noticed there remains a distinct smudge and am afraid of using any other materials that may compromise the finish.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance. :lol:

What an easy way to do. But doesn't anyone use a car steam cleaner? After all, this is the safest way Car steam cleaning process | What is car steam clean? which also differs in efficiency. Weird.
