My buddy says he gets 16.5 mpg in city/hwy driving regularly now in his Cay S. During the break-in and sometime after he was getting almost 14 mpg. I'm also getting 14 mpg but I do not yet have 2000 miles on the car (I've had it for 2 months only). The other post went in to this subject a little but no info about how to improve fuel efficiency was suggested. My tires are properly inflated, the fluids are topped off and I try not to do jackrabbit starts off the line. What else can I try? Do you think mpg suffers because the A/C has to be on all the time? Even when it's 50 degrees outside and the temp inside is set at 60, it gets pretty warm so I leave the A/C on.

Unfortunately, that milage seems about standard for a '45; I only get 17-18 w/ mixed driving in my RWD '35. Also, just b/c the AC light is on, doesn't mean the compressor is running; these newer systems are smarter than that.
