Just wanted to let everyone know of a scam that's been going on for a while now. I am in the process of dealing with one of these dickheads right now. If you're selling anything for more than a few thousand, beware, and check this out.

I have come to associate the word Nigerian with the word scam.

I receive 5-10 of these scams a week here at work.

The ones I receive are for the "big money" LOL.
They all start with, my husband is dead and I cant get to his millions, send me your personal info and will give you half. Or something like that. :evil: I think their stealing idenities.

Anyway, I actually have customers that send their info and money. I feel bad for them in believing.

Never heard of the car one, but I can believe it.
Dont Fall for it.

Well, I'm sure that there was no final reply as he knew the jig was up once he read the linked page here and saw the photos of himself! He was probably happy that he hadn't just been conned by the police. Too bad the photos weren't good enough for ID.

Thanks for the Wendy story. That person is great. I never knew it was that widespread until I started looking into it when I got the email from this guy.
