I have the 2005 FX35 and was wondering have anybody added Bluetooth with the stock radio?? I have the cassette tape player version. It has to be a way to add Bluetooth without using the cigarette lighter adapter
I have the same car. I had a connection installed from the radio which allows me to plug in my ipad/cell phone to play mp3's but I think the entire radio dash assembly would have to be switched out to get bluetooth capability. Haven't thoroughly checked it out though. Frankly, I still play cassettes 😀.

I literally just ordered this today - Ill let you know how it goes - you need to have a SAT button on your radio for it to work....
Hey. Just got the car, I seem to have connected my phones to the car but can't seem to play any audio on it.
The car receives calls and I can talk as well. Just can't seem to play songs.
My phone says the Bluetooth is connected and the song is playing in the car, but in reality it's not.
So, all day on friday my FX was at the dealer for a sunroof replacement. Picked the car up, went to dinner...and then the problem begins.
The car started, however a SOLID red KEY light and a SOLID red PARK light remained on the dash...So I pulled over, turned off the vehicle, and from that...
I am wanting to splice into the video-in feed to the screen so I can change it to another visual input (e.g. phone).
Does anyone have the chart for the 18 or 24 pin connector going into the back of the screen?

So while I was trying to fix a broken driver side exterior door handle with the intelligent key, I did something stupid. I took off the door panel (on the inside) and went to disconnect the control module's wiring cable. The connector pulled apart mixing up the cables that go into the connector...
