Has anyone tried putting a fork mount inside their fx and carry it with both seats folded down? I'm sure I would have to take out the seat post but if it would fit I'd do it every time.

Better off to get a hitch mount. I have one as I thought the roof mount would be too high. Also you will be able to keep the interior clean -- in my case from all the dirt and mud.
