That has been a big area of confusion. You are referring to the atuo-lock feature which should be called the auto-RElock feature. This is a feature that automatically re-locks the doors after the specified period of time if they are unlocked (intentionally or accidentally) via the keyfob after they are initially locked and a door is not opened.FX35FLA said:Arn't the doos supose to auto lock after parking your car? Correct. The only purpose this feature serves is to re-lock the doors if you accidentally hit the unlock button while walking away from the car after you've already locked them. I had auto-lock on my Honda as part of the alarm system and it seriously spoiled me. You just don't want to leave your keys in the car, though. I can't think of any cars that have auto-lock as an OEM feature; it's typically an alarm feature.FX35FLA said:So you can't just walk away and expect the doors to lock by them self... That is VERY misleading! What is the point in having auto-Relock without auto-lock???
