Don't get me wrong. I like that everything is broken out but I think there maybe too many forums.

Maybe something like this:

The original post would have me remove the "problems" forum all together. I do not mind at all the suggestions, and infact I encourage them. But we need to come to an agreement and all be on the same page. I've made a few of the suggested changes, however I'm not sure that the original post here coveres everything well enough.

Most of the forums I've seen have quite a few categories / subforums. I think coming from FA it seems like there are to many here. I can delete/move forums but once moved I can't put it back the way it was. So, if you guys want, lets hash this out and come up with a good layout.

My opinion

I think that it was a mistake to create this forum. I love coming here, but now I also need to check the freshalloy one as well. That makes it twice the trouble. And if I want to post, where do I post? Here? there? Yes, this one is better organized, but the other one gets more hits. Unless this one takes over completely, and I doubt it will happen, then we just split the hits between the 2 sites.

I think we should have kept it under one web site and should have tried to get FA to expand a bit theirs.

That's my opinion on this matter.

I think FA is a great board, but to have one forum for 4311 threads and 39557 posts (and counting) is a bit too much and way too unorganized. I assume that they refused to do it for the Z and G crowd... I can't see it being any different for us. Plus this board's got the really handy dandy pic uploader! I've been posting in both places, but hopefully people will catch on and join this board. It's enthusiast friendly!

This is a nice site, but less forums would make it easier to just browse. Alot of us are just cruising and not looking for something specific. I like the original suggestion from qtxjoe.

Not to be picky, because I think the black background looks good graphically, but it makes reading the posts harder on your eyes and black is not as inviting as a brighter color to new people. It kind of makes it harder to pick out things on the screen. If nobody else agrees, sorry, just my thoughts.

If you will look in your profile there is a setting to change the background to a silver/grey. That is just what I use.

Yep, that's the one I use as well, easier too read, but you need to be logged in in order to change to that one. I still wish there was one good forum to visit, and not 2. It is time consuming to visit both and definitely hard to decide where to post. I am currently posting at FA primarily.
