The AVElectronic Navigation TV Tuner and New-Navigation Video Switcher systems upgrade any factory Navigation Display into a Multimedia Display. Once installed, you will be able to easily connect DVD/VCR/Car Multimedia PC/Play Games/Rearview Vision, etc and watch it in you stock Navigation Display.

Group Buy anyone? The more interested the better the price on our first order.

More information can be found on the AVElectronic web site:

http://www.avelectronic.com

If we can get at least 5 buyers, we can get an intro price of $480 for either unit. There is a flat fee of $15 for shipping to US addresses only.

There are more pictures here.

Nice! But I'm not sure about the screen quality since Infiniti's screen is low resolution compared to Acura and Lexus's.

I am interested. I been looking at this AV unit for awhile now. Please PM or Email me at [email protected] with more details. Please include me in this. I might be able to get two units so only 3 or more buyers needed.

Well here's m777erlin's (Evolution Autosports) post on my350z.com:

"Once installed, it allows factory Navigation Screen to display up to 4 external Video Sources. The system support up to 4 Audio/Video inputs (VCR/DVD/Camera/Game Consoles, etc) and 4 Audio/Video outputs (1 Custom Navigation Interface plus 3 extra LCD monitors outputs). Each of the 4 AV outputs can independently select/watch any of the 4 AV sources. With a flip of a switch, AV1 can select between Navigation map or our Navigation Video Switcher source to be shown on the Navigation Screen. The navigation system still works in the background when you switch to our system (Navigation Voice guidance will come on when it's supposed to). A small wireless RF remote control is use for the AV sources selection.

The TV Tuner version has been discontinued.

Price is $480 with 5+ buyers. Shipping will be a flat cost of $15.

Price is $470 with 10+ buyers. Shipping is the same.

Payment is made through Evolution. Call 703-961-9090 to place your order today! We accept Visa, MC, Amex and Discover. PM me when you have made payment and I will start a list and keep it updated."

Evolution is more than happy to extend this group buy to everyone at InfinitiFX.org!

This is a one time deal that we are offering simply because we just became a dealer for AVElectronic. This is a great system and I will be putting this into my G35. Jeff, one of the owners of Evolution has an FX45 and will also be doing this mod.

Call the shop to place your order today! Be sure to send me an email to confirm that you have paid and we will add you to the list. The GB will be over once we hit the 5 or 10 buyers.

BTW. I heard they have a new DVD player with built in Tunner. Since they discontiued the TV tunner navi switch, I am interested in the DVD/TV tunner as well. Are you guys gonna do a GB for that as well or maybe we should just include the DVD/TV tunner with this buy to whom ever is interested. Just a though, let me know what you think.

Thanks

can a rearview camera be integrated into this tuner???

so, as to switch from nav. to dvd (ro whatever) and then switch to rearview???

(((most missed feature on the fx!!)))
Yes, the AV-Electronics unit has back-up camera capability (they sell the cameras as well). The Nav-TV unit has a wire that connects to something (didn't look into it, since I didn't use that wire) and the display automatically switches to the camera view when shifterd into reverse, just like the FX Tech. The only catch is that you have to turn on the Nav-TV unit via the remote each time you start the car for it (any any of it's other features) to work.
