I admit, I don't know much about all the modifications and parts - that's why I lol when you wrote exactly what I was thinking.

If I'm not mistaken, headers go between the engine and the exhaust sytem. Aftermarket headers help with increased flow...

Headers are the primary component of the exhaust system. The full exhaust system consists of headers, cats, ypipe, midpipe and rear section. Hope that helps!
