Okay, who said that???

Anyway, does anyone else Zaino their door jambs, the painted areas under the hood, and the interior area of the rear hatch opening? I think it;s worth the effort and it sure looks good when I'm done.

All of my friends think I'm crazy, because I will spend one or two days detailing a vehicle. Am I alone in doing this?

Probably not, and what's worse is you folks who take the time to Zaino your cars once a week are making me feel like a neglectant father!

I'm gonna go the lazy-man's route and find a detail shop that'll do the wash/clay bar/two-coats Zaino for me; I really'd rather spend the money than the time (which I can be billing someone for, plus I don't have a place to hand-wash a car for hours at a time in where I'm staying now).

I do. :hello2:

It only takes a few minutes more to either polish or Z6 the door jams or between the doors. I really hate it when I forget. :?

In case anyone is curious, I dont polish every week, just wash and z6 every week. Im up to 18 coats so far.

seems normal to me. i even zaino my wheels inside and out. zaino helps with brake dust accumulation. just sprays off. note: no need to claybar.

You are not crazy. Although obsessed, perhaps.

I washed, claybared and put 2 coats of Zaino on a friend's car the other weekend because he kept complimenting the deep reflective shine on my FX.

Oh, just face it, guys, we're all nuts.

Have you ever:
-washed your car INSIDE the garage WHILE it's raining outside?
-waxed your car after midnight?
-pulled out your Z6 and a microfiber towel that you keep in the car in a parking lot to hit that spot you just noticed while your wife waits?
-been know in your neighborhood as "oh, the guy who's always cleaning his car."?
-etc., etc., etc.

Say it with me: We're nuts. The sooner you accept it, the happier you'll be. Everyone else just has to learn to deal with it. :D

And,

- went to one of those coin wash when it's -20F outside and couldn't open the door after it's done.
