Very intermittently my car will go into limp mode (and actually shuts engine down completely). Seems to be when I really put my foot down.

It's only happened a couple of times in the last month, its quite rare it happens.

Have plugged it into Delphi Autocom and it has stored code P2293 - "Fuel Pressure Regulator 2 Performance".

The code deletes fine but I just know it's going to come back one day again!

Any ideas?

I'm going to change the fuel filter (I know I'm hoping but it's worth a try)... Can somebody advise where this is located on my FX30D? Thanks

The same problem occurred on my 2013 months ago. First time happened in accelerating above 160 km/h. Second time hundreds km later when rotations went through 2600, later already through 2200, then 2000 rpm... After plenty of reading decided to have changed fuel filter and Fuel Pressure Sensor (BOSCH 0281006188) and engine shut downs solved
Hope it helps cause I suffered weeks..

Thank you, that's great info! I was reading it could be either of those things so was considering replacing both.

Hi all, this has just started on mine. Any input of where i can get the filter as there's so much on the internet. Is it just the inline filter or is it under the fuel pump etc on the right side of the engine. thanks
