I was attempting to remove the bolt that holds the speed sensor on the front driver's side and it broke off with very little effort. I'll have to try to shoot some penetrating oil in the recess and then drill out what remains. Would anyone have any idea how long this bolt is? The head is 10 MM and what broke off had about 3 or 4 threads so I should be able to get the right thread and size. The length is a different story. I don't want to drill too deep and screw up something really expensive.

As of right now, the sensor isn't loose at all but I'd rather not drive too far.

Any help is appreciated.

Do you have a Harbor Freight close to you? Several years ago, I walked into the store and while wandering around, I saw that they have left-hand twist drill bits. I bought them. They work great for removing broken bolts. Run your variable speed drill in reverse and these reverse thread/twist bits will start to drill out the bolt and then the heat usually loosens what is left of the broken bolt and it unscrews. I can't guess at the length of the bolt but it is probably short.

lol That's quite all right, you gave me a chuckle. I also bought a set of those speedout bits, they do wonders for pulling out stripped screws and bolts. I also never knew about the speed sensor until I read your post. Thanks for the education.
