Hi.
My car(2005 FX35) has a battery drain problem. I cannot start the car after 3 days.
Right now I disconnect batter when I park.
Dealer said that I have to replace BCM, which is around $1000.
I found a used BCM from Internet.
Replacing BCM seems easy, However my question is
"After replacing BCM, do I need a factory reset etc?
Is there anything that only dealer can do after BCM replacement?"

If not, I want to try it out?
Any suggestions?

It will have to be reprogrammed after the BCM is replaced. Here is a thread from a G35 forum that may help.
