Hi,

I have an 09 FX35 and I noticed that both of my marker lights are out, can anyone plz tell me which fuse I could check? I tried looking in my manual for a fuse layout with no luck.

Many thanks

Hey what’s up. There is a fuse box located at the battery also there is one behind the battery. The fuse for the front maker lamps should be fuse 52 and 53 both 10amp. They are fuse separately so I don’t see how both would be blown. I think more thank likely the bulbs are bad or something else. The fuse box behind the battery is where you will find the fuses and it’s very difficult to remove being it is also the “IPDM” module as well. Your gonna have to remove the cowl covers from around the battery and to actually remove the fuse box your gonna have to unlock the tab that holds it in place, once you do so the harness is attached to the firewall via a clip so your gonna have to pull hard to release it from the clip in order to pull the fuse box up enough to check it. Good luck but if I were you I would make sure it’s not the bulbs or something else before going into the fuse box

Hi,

Thanks for the info and I got to the fuse box in the battery compartment, not the one on top but the one tucked away in the left side of the battery, wow what a job to get to that box, I think I can now build my own FX with the amount of parts I had to pull apart just to get to that fuse box. lol. Anyways I got to the fuse box and there are just wiring harness in there, no actual fuses, are the fuses behind the wires?? I had to move the battery, the ground wire harness that bolts to the vehicle for grounding, I think the only thing I didn't took out was the kitchen sink, holy smokes. So at one point my marker light were working, then I noticed that only 1 was working, so when i went under the hood to replace the bulb the both stop working.

Thanks for all your help and any other suggestions that I can look at would be greatly appreciated.

Once you pull the fuse cartridge up and away from the firewall/battery area (be careful because the wiring harness attached is relatively short) you then slide up the outside cover (there are fans on the sides which release it). This will give you access to all the fuses.

Not fans (stupid iPhone correction)... tabs. Release the tabs on each side and the cover will slide. So you’ll need to work the tabs and use your thumbs to push against the face and it’ll side.
