DatMan Don't remember if the same lights come on but go get a code pulled... If your FX stalls, it's most likely the cam sensor... There are two of them... You can replace both, or try to find out which one is bad, but pulling an error code will direct you in the right direction...

Kelvin My 2004 infinity fx35 keeps shutting off while on motion, when I restart the engine will restart with VLC OFF and SLIP ON, this lights will stay on until I park the car and turn off the engine for a very long time, then everything will be normal when I start again, but once I'm on motion for couple of minutes it will happen again, when this lights are on I notice the automatic gear doesn't function, please can any one help?

justalbert I had the same problem, took the car to dealership and luckily they were honest enough to tell me the truth,, it was the connectors on the firewall came loose. Re-connected and works five-o till now. Good luck

geosur After driving around with the steering wheel parked in the up position for 4 months in order to keep the VDC OFF SLIP light from coming on, I finally decided to fix the problem. After testing about 40 wires or so, several times, that connect to the steering wheel, I found a broken black wire in the white pin connector left bottom side on column. It was broke nearly 12" up from connector ahead of the front part of the harness bend. If it was any higher, I would not have been able to get to it. Everything is good now. I had to reset the air bag error light, though. That was an easy fix. I may consider turning off the "Lift Steering Wheel When Exiting Vehicle" feature. The wiring in this model is not flexible or strong enough to handle the constant raise and lowering of the steering column each time you get in and out of the vehicle. I developed this problem with only 45k miles on the vehicle. I wonder how many more wires are weak and will break. Bad design. This harness cluster goes to everything that is on the steering wheel, such as cruise, remote radio, Bluetooth, wipers, airbag, etc.

DatMan Assuming you already read most of this thread and your brake pads are fairly new?

geosur This VDC light is back on again for me. This time it happens if I try to move the steering column. If column is all the way in and up, light won't come on. As soon as I touch level, light goes on. Also, the column and driver's seat quit moving to programmed setting a few months before. And then on occasions it will work again. There must be something loose in the column. I guess there can be many reasons for this light to come on.

Direct Touch on my 2004 FX35 I had the same issue VDC OFF, SLIP, BRAKE lights on after I replaced ABS cable, wheel sensor (aftermarket) on my front right wheel. I thought there was problem in the connector. But after filling brake fluid to MAX (was MIN), this problem was resolved immediately.

Vdc off light, abs light and slip light on, car starting issues

I am having some strange problems with my 2007 G35 Infiniti Sudan AWD... as the weather got colder my car would have problems starting. The battery was changed and after two weeks the starting problem reoccured. After bringing it to the shop and charging the battery the car started but the VDC OFF, Slip lights and ABS light turned on and then the tires stopped turning. The mechanic thought it was a brake problem, the brakes were very old and worn, he changed the brakes and the brake flex hose but the problem still exists. We put the car on the scanner and got the C1142 code for an ABS malfunction. I am reading and realizing that it may be either the wheel sensors or the actuator. I am hoping it is not the actuator as they are very expensive to replace. Was anyone else's cars having trouble starting. My car will not start and then when I eventually get it to start the VDC OFF, Slip light and ABS light will turn on and the ABS kicks in effecting the movement of the wheels. Can anyone help me?

kgardner My 2008 Infiniti FX35 has started to (very occasionally) make a thunk sound when putting it into gear and a vibrating sound and brakes briefly don't grab. It goes away immediately, but is scary. I am sick of spending a fortune on major repairs on this car. Is this a common problem with FX35 cars? Any warranty or recall on it?

soufsideFX I have a 03 FX45 ans my ABS, VDC, BRAKE, AWD, and SLIP lights are on. I took it to the Nissan dealership here, as I do not have a Consult, They said it was the rear left ABS Wheel Sensor. I bought the sensor and changed it. Took it back to the dealer to get the codes cleared and they wouldn't clear. they just kept coming up with the same codes. I have new cross drilled and slotted rotors, New Hawk HPS pads, fresh transmission flush, differentials flush, transfer case flush, and new brake fluid. All fluids are Nissan OEM. Any Ideas?
