Angry 2006 FX35, had it 3 months, only driven for 18 days

Hello All,
New member, hoping for a miracle! My wife purchased a 2006 FX35 in March and everything was fine for about a week. Then we started getting a sluggish throttle with a VDC and slip light illumination. Pulled the codes and got P2127 AND P2138. Long story short...car started shaking and smelling, had it towed to local (non-Infiniti) garage, 2 weeks later he said the cats were clogged up which burned up the coils on the passenger bank. Also said the throttle position sensor and throttle body needed replacing. I replaced the throttle pedal and sensor, put a new throttle body on and had him reprogram them. He "serviced" the cats and it ran fine for 4 days then abruptly quit on my Wife while she was driving it. I met her and pulled the codes and had the same P2127 and P2138, plus two new codes, P2100 and P2101. Had it towed (again) to the garage, he kept it for two weeks then called and said it might be an ECM, (something about a bad ground) and he couldn't fix it. Had it towed (again) back to the house and found a luggage compartment full of parts...air box, glove box, miscellaneous screws and bolts and engine cover! I pulled the positive battery cable and put a test light inline between the cable and the positive terminal of the battery and it lit up. I pulled every fuse while the light was hooked up but the light never went out. Must be a short somewhere for the light to be on? Anyone have any ideas? When I turn it over, it sounds like it wants to crank but never does. The rpm's speed up like it going to crank but no cigar!
I'm hoping someone might have had the same problem or has a clue. At this point we've spent almost $4000 on a car that we still owe payments on, and have driven it a total of 18 days. If I had any hair left, it would have been pulled out by now.

Sounds like you got a less than competent mechanic. Take it to a Nissan dealer as they have the proper equipment to directly diagnose the OBD codes. The CAN bus that the vehicle communicates with all the components is a real tough beast to troubleshoot. Infinity dealer will just be more expensive
